Martin
Martin, originally from the Netherlands, is married to a Polish woman and father to three wonderful children. Despite his efforts, he hasn’t quite become a ‘true’ Pole; he abstains from vodka and still turns down pierogi, even when they’re made by his mother-in-law. Working as a tour guide in Lublin and Warsaw, Martin delights in sharing the quirky and lesser-known tales of these cities’ landmarks.
He has earned the prestigious title of Tour Guide of Inspiration (Przewodnik Inspiracji) from Lublin. Additionally, Martin is a licensed guide for the former Nazi German concentration and extermination camps at Majdanek, Sobibor, and Bełżec, where he provides profound and educational tours of these significant historical locations.
Martyna
Forget the clichés – Martyna is a mathematician by degree, but there’s nothing dull about her. Don’t let her petite frame and sweet smile fool you; as a mother to a large brood, she’s adept at holding her own. She’s a treasure trove of knowledge on Lublin, earning her the playful moniker “Lubinpedia.” Her tales are never tedious, often spiced with a hint of cheekiness.
Martyna is also a licensed guide at the former Nazi German concentration camp, Majdanek. As a native Polish guide in our team, she thrives in outdoor settings, sharing her passion for history with a unique, engaging flair.
Anna
Anna became a Lubliner when she began her studies in this enchanting city. Her passion for storytelling is matched by her deep understanding of Lublin, as seen through the eyes of a student. While the city boasts numerous towers and lofty structures to climb, Anna humorously admits she can’t even manage a small tree, so don’t expect to find her atop the Cracow Gate or Trinitarian Tower.
Fluent in English, Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian, Anna combines light-hearted humour with an impressive memory to deliver exceptional tours.
Zuza
Zuza is a tour guide through and through, with a knack for spinning both poignant and hilarious tales in an engaging manner. When she’s not charming visitors in Lublin, she’s exploring new horizons.
Currently, studying medicine, Zuza embodies the spirit of Dr. April Kepner from “Grey’s Anatomy.” Her love for capybaras adds a quirky touch to her profile. Fluent in Spanish, Polish, and English, she welcomes conversation in any of these languages. Zuza also holds a deep appreciation for the works of Bolesław Prus, reflecting her love for Polish literature.
